This is not an auction. Every entry is a purchase, and every entry is paid for.

You pay an amount of your choosing, at or above the stated minimum. In return your display name is published on the leaderboard, together with the logo and website link you submit, for as long as the leaderboard runs. That publication is the service you are paying for, and you receive it whether or not you finish in first place.

In addition, whoever holds first place at the moment the countdown reaches zero receives the advertising placement on KDrama Tracker for the period stated on the homepage. Only the single highest entry receives this. Everyone else receives the leaderboard placement only.

Entries are ranked by amount, highest first. If two entries are for the same amount, the one paid for first ranks higher. Only paid entries are ranked or displayed; an unpaid or abandoned checkout creates no entry.

Each buyer occupies one position, showing their highest paid entry. You may raise your entry at any time while the leaderboard is open by paying again, subject to the stated minimum increase.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.

Your entry is published as soon as the payment clears. Before paying you are asked to confirm that you want the service to begin immediately and that you acknowledge losing your statutory right of withdrawal once it has been performed in full. Where you give that confirmation, the right of withdrawal lapses on publication of your entry in accordance with section 356(4) of the German Civil Code.

Payments are therefore non-refundable. Entries cannot be lowered or withdrawn, and not finishing in first place is not a ground for a refund.

If we remove your entry under section 5 without cause attributable to you, or if we cancel the leaderboard entirely, we refund what you paid.

You are responsible for the display name, logo and link you submit, and you confirm you hold the rights to use them. You grant us the right to display them on this site for the duration of the leaderboard.

Content is published without prior review. We may remove any entry, with its logo and link, at any time and without notice where it is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, pornographic, hateful, malware-bearing or otherwise abusive, or where the link leads to such material. Where an entry is removed for such a reason, the payment is not refunded and the entry loses its ranking.

The winner is contacted by email at the address given at checkout. The creative is agreed between us before it goes live and must meet the same content standards as section 5. We may decline a creative that does not, and will work with the winner on a version that does.

The placement runs on KDrama Tracker for the period stated on the homepage. We do not guarantee any particular number of impressions, clicks or outcomes. The audience figures shown on this site are historical measurements, not promises.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site. If a technical fault on our side prevents the leaderboard from closing correctly, we may extend the deadline and will say so publicly on this site.

We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, and for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Statutory liability under the Product Liability Act is unaffected.

German law applies. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

These terms were drafted to match what this site actually does, but they have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have them checked before you take live payments — in particular the withdrawal and refund clauses, and whether you need to show VAT.
